Memory of murder scene, review (Warning Spoiler)

Hello, this movie is a memory of murder. At the time of release, the memory of the murder mobilized 5,255,376 audiences, creating a big topic. Furthermore, it can be said that the legendary chemistry of director Bong Joon-ho and actor Song Kang-ho started with this film. Director Bong Joon-ho waited a long time to cast an actor Song Kang-ho. In response to the call to director Bong Joon-ho, Song Kang-ho will appear in the role of Duman.

In fact, the relationship between the two goes back a long time ago when director Bong Joon-ho served as an assistant director for a work called <Cactus>. Song Kang-ho auditioned for the work of <Cactus> and fell. At that time, when the way to contact was uncomfortable, most of them do not contact me if they fall into the audition

But director Bong Joon-ho left a message saying that he was unable to work with Song Kang-ho’s pager. I don’t know if that attitude gave rise to a synergy effect when Song Kang-ho, who became a great actor over time, responded to director Bong Joon-ho’s call1986 Gyeonggi-do. A young woman is found brutally raped and murdered. Two months later, as a series of rape and murder cases of similar techniques took place, the case began to attract the attention of the world, and the whole area was struck by an unfamiliar crime and fear of serial murder.

A special investigation headquarters will be set up in the area where the incident occurred, and the investigation headquarters will be led by Koo Hee-bong (Byeon Hee-bong), a local detective Park Doo-man (Song Kang-ho), Cho Yong-gu (Kim Ro-ha), and Seo Tae-yoon (Kim Sang-kyung), who volunteered from the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency, will be deployed.

Park Doo-man, who is represented by his sixth sense, pushes for a confession, while Seo Tae-yoon carefully reviews the case documents and finds clues to the case, but the two people with different styles have a tense war of nerves from the start. As the suspect is arrested and the case seems to be over, the scene becomes a mess and the captain is fired when the media reports that the suspect denies the crime.

He doesn’t leave any trace of himself to the point where investigators are upset. When killing or binding, they all use items worn or used by victims. Even if you’re a rapist, you don’t find a single criminal plot, which is usually kept away from the body of the killer

With the appointment of Shin Dong-cheol (Song Jae-ho) as the successor, the investigation begins to pick up steam. Park Doo-man searches nearby temples and bathhouses for reckless people, and Seo Tae-yoon, who was reviewing the case files, finds out that a woman in red is the target of the crime on a rainy day.

Detectives in the pre-emptive strike dress a female police officer in red on a rainy night and conduct a trap investigation. But coming back the next morning was another woman’s terrible corpse. The case again hides the clue and the pot-like media points to the incompetence of front-line detectives, putting them even more obsessive.

The movie “Memories of Murder” has a play called “Come See Me,” a series of murders in Hwaseong, Gyeonggi-do, and it has been made into a movie. Director Bong Joon-ho spent a lot of time collecting materials at the time of film production, and as his main talent, detailed productions appear in the movie.

Another scene in which Park Doo-man flaps at Seo Tae-yoon, which is said to have been deliberately placed on the front train to naturally continue the confrontation and tension between the two. I can’t relax throughout the movie. On a rainy day, women die horribly on a particular music radio. The audience naturally took the position of a detective, so who the hell is the culprit? That’s how we find each other. When that last hopeful ending is revealed, the audience becomes exhausted.

Many years later, Tumen revisits the scene of the murder. Then a girl will talk to Tumen. “That’s strange. A few days ago, another guy was looking at it like this…” Duman instinctively knows that the person is a murderer and asks a few questions about his appearance, impressions, and so on.

The girl said, “You look normal…Very normal.” Tumen agonized for a long time after hearing that. The movie ends looking at the audience. The director seems to have wanted to tell us that there is a criminal among us through Song Kang-ho’s final eye contact. In the actual premiere, director Bong Joon-ho also assumes that the killer came to see the movie.

It’s a waste of time. A terrible murder is now a memory, a memory of an old case for Tumen, and a terrible murder of more than a dozen years has become a memory of murder. It was a terrible and painful event for someone at the time.

But over time, it became just a memory for someone, and the killer became a normal old man for a girl. After this movie came out, many questions about the statute of limitations were raised. Later, on July 24, 2015, a revision to the Criminal Procedure Act was passed to abolish the statute of limitations for murder.
